Chris Gimenez — National Catching Analyst and Player Development Coach

From the Major Leagues to Mastering the Game Within the Game.

Chris Gimenez brings a decade of Major League catching experience and broadcast-level baseball insight to his work as a national catching and player development coach. Drafted out of the University of Nevada in the 19th round by the Cleveland Indians, Chris went on to catch for six MLB teams — including the Indians, Rangers, Twins, and Cubs — earning a reputation as one of the most cerebral and respected catchers of his era.

After retiring from professional baseball, Chris transitioned into broadcasting and analysis, becoming a voice of insight for the Cleveland Guardians and MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM. His ability to break down the nuances of catching, game-calling, and leadership makes him one of the most complete catching instructors in the country.

Chris’s coaching combines the perspective of a pro player and the clarity of an analyst. He teaches athletes how to think, communicate, and lead on the field — transforming talented catchers into true field generals.
