Stan Durst has been around baseball for as long as he can remember. Growing up in the game, he spent his childhood surrounded by players who eventually became Major Leaguers, college recruiting coordinators, head coaches, and people now working inside professional baseball organizations. Those relationships and decades of firsthand exposure gave him a unique understanding of how the recruiting world truly works behind the scenes.
Stan’s path into recruiting began in the most personal way possible. When his son Jaxsyn started his own journey, Stan became immersed in everything that matters to families today. He learned the ins and outs of the NCAA rulebook, timelines, communication limits, NIL opportunities, and the new realities of the transfer portal. That journey led Jaxsyn to Arizona State University, and along the way Stan discovered he had a gift for helping other families navigate the process with clarity and confidence.
What started with helping one player has grown into helping athletes and parents across the country find the right schools that match their talent, personality, goals, and long term development. Stan has built a reputation for honesty, communication, and real relationships with college coaches at every level. He works closely with recruiting coordinators, head coaches, and pro level contacts to help families understand where they stand and what steps move them forward.
As National Director of Recruiting, Stan brings a parent’s perspective, a coach’s clarity, and a network built over a lifetime in the game. His passion is helping athletes avoid the common pitfalls, understand what truly matters to college coaches, and find the right long term fit for both baseball and academics.
Parents trust Stan because he has lived it, understands it, and knows exactly how overwhelming the process can feel. He turns recruiting into a plan, provides straight answers, and helps families move with confidence and purpose.
If your son wants to play college baseball, Stan is the person you want in your corner.
